Atrium Health Mountain Island Emergency Department is seeking a CT Technologist I to operate CT scanners and support Radiology services. You will verify orders, prepare patients, document exams, and collaborate with Radiologists to ensure high-quality imaging according to departmental standards.

The role requires ARRT certification in Radiology (or NMTCB) with CT registry within one year, CPR certification, and standard radiologic safety practices.

Qualificações

• ARRT certification in Radiology, or NMTCB in Nuclear Medicine, with ARRT CT registry to be completed within one year of hire.
• CPR certification is required.
• Graduate of an ARRT-recognized Radiologic Technology program.

Responsabilidades

• Examine requests and verify orders with Radiologist before exams.
• Operate CT scanners and related equipment per protocol.
• Prepare patients with explanations and obtain histories; document procedures.
• Administer IV contrast per protocol and record contrast details.
• Maintain radiation safety and equipment integrity throughout procedures.
