Job summary

Atrium Health Mountain Island Emergency Department is seeking a CT Technologist I to perform CT procedures in a high-volume emergency setting. The successful candidate will operate CT scanners, prepare patients, and contribute to accurate documentation and imaging interpretation in collaboration with Radiology.

Responsibilities include ensuring patient safety, following radiation safety protocols, and supporting the Radiology team during invasive procedures and emergencies.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT-recognized Radiologic Technology program.
• CPR certification required in addition to ARRT/NMTCB licensure.
• Ability to handle growth and development considerations for diverse patient populations.

Responsibilities

• Performs CT scanning in accordance with departmental protocols and standards.
• Operates CT scanners, IV contrast injectors, and related equipment.
• Reviews orders with Radiologist, identifies discrepancies, and documents findings.
• Maintains radiation safety and adheres to infection control policies.
• Rotates shifts, participates in call back, holidays, and weekend coverage.
