Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights, IL seeks an RN Clinical Nurse Practice Specialist for the Emergency Department. The CNPS will apply advanced nursing expertise, educate staff, and lead evidence-based practice changes across the system.

The role emphasizes leadership, mentorship, and collaboration with Nursing Leadership, Educators, and interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes and nurse practice through innovative education and policy development.

Qualificações

• Masters in Nursing is required.
• RN license in Illinois (RN) is required.
• BLS from American Heart Association is required.
• ACLS is preferred and must be completed within 3 months of hire.
• Current nursing specialty certification or certification within 1 year.

Responsabilidades

• Provide advanced clinical nursing expertise in the ED and across the system.
• Assess education needs and develop competency and skill days.
• Mentor nurses and lead evidence-based practice changes.
• Lead quality initiatives and implement process improvements.
• Develop and implement evidence-based policies and protocols at unit level.
• Engage in Shared Decision-Making Councils and interprofessional education.
