Job summary
Endeavor Health is seeking an RN Clinical Nurse Practice Specialist to support the Emergency Department in Arlington Heights, IL. This full-time role emphasizes clinical expertise, education, and leadership to improve patient outcomes and nursing practice across the system.
You will act as a clinical educator and consultant, mentor staff, and partner with Nursing Leadership to implement evidence-based care, quality initiatives, and technology integrations for safe, efficient health care delivery.
Qualifications
- Masters Degree in Nursing is required.
- RN license in Illinois is required.
- BLS is required; ACLS preferred or to be obtained within 3 months of hire.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert clinical nursing care and education.
- Assess and develop staff education plans based on care needs.
- Mentor nurses and lead implementation of evidence-based practices.
- Lead quality initiatives and process improvements.
- Coordinate with Nursing Leadership to establish annual competencies.
- Promote safe, cost-effective patient outcomes across care settings.
- Engage in Shared Decision-Making Councils and interprofessional learning.
- Stay current with best practices and regulatory standards.
