Job summary

Ochsner Health System is seeking a dedicated CNA for the Emergency Department night shifts in Monroe, Louisiana. Under the supervision of licensed nurses, you will support patient care, monitor conditions and help ensure safety and comfort for patients.

The role requires CNA, BLS, CPI certifications with a High School diploma or equivalent; telemetry experience is preferred. You will collaborate with families, patients and the care team to maintain high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Preferred hospital and telemetry experience.
• High School diploma or equivalent is required; CNA certification required.
• BLS and CPI certifications to be obtained within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Supports the plan of care under supervision of licensed nurse.
• Maintains a clean and safe patient care environment.
• Provides basic patient care and monitors patient status.
• Documents patient information accurately and timely.
• Communicates needs to patients, families and staff.
