Ochsner Health in Louisiana seeks a compassionate Nursing Assistant to support patient care under the supervision of a licensed nurse. This role emphasizes patient safety, accurate documentation, and effective communication with patients and staff.

Schedule includes (2) 12-hour shifts per week, 6:45 PM–7:15 AM with rotating weekends. Preferred hospital/telemetry experience; required Louisiana CNA certification and BLS/CPI to be obtained within 30 days of hire.

Responsabilités

• Supports the plan of care as delegated by staff nurse within scope of skills verification.
• Maintains a clean and safe environment in the patient care area.
• Provides patient care based on physical, psychosocial, educational and safety needs.
• Communicates patient care needs effectively with patients, families and staff, including multi-disciplinary teams.
• Completes documentation of patient related tasks.
• Adapts interaction based on patient population and setting.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
