Job summary

Mercy Health seeks a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist - Oncology at St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital to lead specialized pharmaceutical care and clinical programs. You will monitor therapy, perform MTM, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Licensed pharmacist in the state(s) practiced; ACLS preferred.
• ACPE-accredited PharmD/BS degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• PGY2 or 4 years of specialist experience; board certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care as a subject matter expert.
• Lead clinical programs to optimize medication therapy and patient care.
• Conduct medication reviews and MTM to ensure safe use.
• Identify cost-containment opportunities in medication utilization.
• Educate patients and staff; serve as preceptor for students/residents.
• Collaborate with health care teams to advance programs.
