Qualifications

• BSN preferred
• Current Nevada RN license
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of acute care hospital Emergency Room RN experience required; 3 years ED nursing experience preferred
• Minimum 1 year of Charge/Relief Charge/Nursing leadership experience desirable

Responsibilities

• Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure throughput and high quality care.
• Participate in ongoing assessment of quality of patient care services.
• Collaborate with managers to create teamwork that supports improved outcomes.
• Support patient-first philosophy and service recovery when necessary.
• Operationalize nursing strategies to improve engagement (hourly rounds, etc.).
• Provide hiring-related recommendations including training, development, and performance evaluations.
• Assist with staff scheduling and labor management.
• Assist with inventory control and supplies management.

Education

Nursing BSN degree (preferred)

Nevada RN license

BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications
