HCA Florida Lake Monroe Hospital is seeking a Clinical Nurse Charge (CNC) to lead nursing care on a designated shift, directing care in collaboration with the management team. You will monitor quality of care, mentor staff, and support a patient-first culture to ensure exceptional outcomes and a smooth unit operation.

The CNC will participate in staffing, onboarding, training and performance actions, while ensuring inventory and supplies meet patient care needs. Florida nursing license required.

Qualificações

• Florida RN license required; compact license holders have 60 days to obtain Florida license after relocation.
• 2+ years of RN experience in an acute care environment preferred.
• NIH Stroke Scale must be obtained within 30 days of employment start.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) must be obtained within 30 days of start.
• American Heart Association ACLS Provider card required within 6 months of employment start date.

Responsabilidades

• Assists with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high quality, patient-centered care.
• Participates in ongoing assessment of quality of patient care services with the management team.
• Collaborates with managers to create an environment of teamwork that supports improved outcomes and service.
• Supports a patient-first philosophy and engages in service recovery when necessary.
• Operationalizes nursing strategies to improve engagement (rounding, hourly rounds, etc.).
• Provides recommendations on interviewing, selecting, and training staff and handles performance actions as needed.
• Assists with staff scheduling and manages labor in line with care needs and productivity guidelines.
• Supports inventory control and helps manage supplies and equipment.
