HCA Florida JFK Hospital in Atlantis, FL is seeking a Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) to ensure high quality, patient-centered care and coordinate unit operations during the designated shift. The CNC works with the management team to direct, monitor and evaluate nursing care in line with policies, serving as a resource and author of best practices.

Key duties include guiding admissions and discharges for efficient throughput, collaborating to improve outcomes, supporting staffing and training,

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current Florida Registered RN License or Compact Licensure.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS Certifications.
• CPI Certification.
• Minimum of one year acute care Medical/Surgical/Tele RN experience.
• ER RN experience in Acute Care Hospital preferred.
• Charge nurse experience.

Responsibilities

• Assists with admission and discharge processes for efficient throughput.
• Participates in ongoing assessment of quality of patient care services.
• Collaborates with managers to create teamwork for improved outcomes.
• Supports patient-first philosophy and service recovery.
• Operates nursing strategies including hourly rounds and staff engagement.
• Recommends and implements staff training and evaluations as needed.
• Assists with staff scheduling and labor management.
• Supports inventory control of supplies and equipment.
