Job summary

Ally Medical is seeking an ER Tech in the Emergency Department to assist the RN and Physician, performing delegated tasks within scope of practice.

You will take vitals, draw blood, initiate IVs, perform diagnostic testing, document findings, and help with patient assessments while supporting a multidisciplinary team.

This role requires CPR/BLS certification and prior ER tech experience; ACLS/PALS are encouraged.

Qualifications

• Two years ER Technician experience required.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• ACLS and PALS certifications encouraged.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Provides supportive care to patients under the direction of the registered nurse and/or physician.
• Performs patient skills such as vitals, height/weight, IV initiation, blood draws, and documentation to assist the nurse and physician.
• Performs diagnostic testing using lab procedures and reports results to RN or Attending Physician.
• Assists with assessments, examinations, and treatments.
• Monitors stock and restocks supplies; may assist with front office registration tasks.
• Demonstrates ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
