Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Collects urine, stool and sputum specimens.
• Performs basic lab tests and vitals checks.
• Obtains and records vital signs.
• Assists with patient ambulation, comfort, and feeding.
• Assists RN or physician with exams and minor procedures.
• Responds to emergencies and notifies appropriate staff.
• Transports patients to radiology and labs.
• Maintains ER charts and logs.
• Updates on-call physician schedules and maintains storeroom supplies.
