Job summary

SignatureCare Emergency Center in Garland, TX seeks an ER Tech to assist the RN and Physician in patient care within the Emergency Department. You will perform delegated tasks, document accurately, and help maintain a high standard of holistic, family-centered care while adhering to HIPAA.

The role requires Texas EMT or Paramedic licensure with ER experience or MA certification with ER experience, plus BLS. ACLS/PALS are preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Texas EMT license or Paramedic license with ER experience.
• Certification as Medical Assistant with ER experience.
• BLS certification required; ACLS/PALS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN and Physician with patient care and delegated tasks.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant documentation and privacy in EMR.
• Stabilize patients and assist in ongoing treatment in the ED.
• Support infection control and provide quality patient care.
• Coordinate patient care activities with nurses and doctors.
• May work holidays and weekends as needed.
