Job summary

SignatureCare Emergency Center is seeking an ER Technician to support the ED team in Garland, TX. The role involves assisting RNs and Physicians, performing delegated tasks within EMT scope, and documenting patient information in the EMR. The position is part-time with day and night shifts.

Required are Texas EMT or Paramedic licenses (or CMA) with ER experience, BLS, and strong communication skills. ACLS/PALS are a plus. Expect fast-paced environment and emphasis on patient privacy and safety.

Qualifications

• Texas EMT or Paramedic license with hospital ER experience.
• Certification as Medical Assistant with ER experience.
• BLS required; ACLS/PALS preferred.
• Strong communication and problem-solving in emergency settings.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN and Physician with patient care in the ED.
• Carry out delegated tasks within EMT scope of practice.
• Document in EMR and maintain patient privacy/HIPAA standards.
• Assist in stabilizing and treating patients in the ED.
• Support nurses in direct patient care activities.
• Stock and organize ED areas; maintain cleanliness.
