Job summary

SignatureCare Emergency Center in Texas seeks an ER Tech to assist the RN and Physician in the emergency department. You will support patient care, perform delegated tasks within your scope, and involve patients and families in the plan of care.

You will maintain HIPAA compliance, document in EMR, stock rooms, and help stabilize patients; expect heavy lifting and fast-paced shifts, with potential holidays/weekends. Requires EMT/Paramedic/MA licensure with ER experience and BLS.

Qualifications

• Texas EMT/Paramedic license with hospital ER experience (2+ years).
• BLS required; ACLS and PALS preferred but not required.
• Strong communication in oral and written formats.
• Flexible and service-oriented; ability to think critically in emergencies.
• Maintain quality, safety, and infection control standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN and Physician with patient care in the ED.
• Carry out delegated tasks within EMT scope of practice.
• Document in EMR and ensure patient privacy per HIPAA.
• Stock departments/rooms daily and clean/organize ED areas.
• Assist in stabilizing patients and coordinating care with nurses.
• May work holidays and weekends as needed.
