Job summary

SignatureCare Emergency Center is seeking an ER Tech to assist the RN and Physician in the Emergency Department. You will perform delegated tasks within EMT scope, document in the EMR, and help stabilize patients while maintaining privacy and a compassionate, family-centered approach.

The role requires Texas EMT or Paramedic licensure with ER experience, BLS certification, and strong communication skills. You may work holidays/weekends as needed in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Requires Texas EMT license with 2 years ER experience, or Texas Paramedic license with 2 years ER experience.
• BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and written skills.
• Flexible, service-oriented, and able to think critically in emergencies.
• Commitment to infection control and patient privacy.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN and Physician with patient care.
• Carry out delegated tasks within EMT scope of practice.
• Document in EMR and maintain HIPAA standards.
• Assist in stabilizing and treating patients in ED.
• Stock departments/rooms daily; keep ED neat and organized.
• Promote positive image of SignatureCare Emergency Center.
• May work holidays and weekends as needed.
