Qualifications

• Two (2) years of clinical experience; ER setting preferred but not required.
• Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) or CNA preferred.
• CPR/BLS Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assists attending physician and RN with patient care.
• Takes height, weight and vital signs.
• Performs ECGs as ordered and reports results to physician.
• Performs diagnostic lab procedures and reports lab results.
• Assists with mobility and basic patient care tasks.
• Maintains clean and prepared rooms between patients and procedures.
• Assists with front office registration activities and data entry as needed.
• Monitors supplies and stocks as required.
• Adheres to organizational policies and participates in QA activities.
