Job summary

CareWell Health is seeking an Emergency Room Technician to provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered or Practical Nurse. The role includes patient transport, basic treatments, and assistance with procedures while maintaining confidentiality and high-quality service.

Responsibilities include performing phlebotomy, EKGs, wound care, vital signs, and documentation. Candidates should have a high school diploma and a minimum of one year of relevant experience, with ERT, EKG,

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• One year experience preferred.
• Certifications required: ERT preferred; BLS-CPR required; Phlebotomy, EKG certificates preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect test specimens as directed according to procedures and documentation.
• Perform phlebotomy, EKGs, splinting, transport, wound care, simple dressing and related duties.
• Assist patients with care, maintaining confidentiality and respect at all times.
• Work with the care team to support patient needs and team objectives.
• Respond to emergencies per hospital policy and document procedures accurately.
