Job summary

YKHC in Bethel, Alaska seeks a dedicated case manager to support Emergency Department patients and their escorts. You will coordinate travel, meals, lodging, and access to residential care for behavioral health services, perform substance abuse screenings, and provide follow-up case management to link clients to ongoing care.

Responsibilities include delivering therapeutic interventions as directed, tracking discharged clients, and performing additional duties to support emergency services care.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in Social Work or related field preferred.
• Two years experience in Behavioral Health or similar community service preferred.
• Certification in Substance Abuse Counseling preferred, or willingness to become certified.
• Basic counseling skills and knowledge of rehabilitative services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide case management for ER clients and escorts.
• Coordinate travel, meals, and lodging for ER Behavioral Health clients.
• Conduct substance abuse screenings and link clients to residential care.
• Provide therapeutic interventions as directed and follow up with discharged clients.
