Job summary

Yukon Kuskokwim Health Corporation (YKHC) in Bethel, Alaska, is hiring a Behavioral Health professional to provide substance abuse screening, assess client needs, and support case management for emergency and routine referrals. You will triage urgent cases, coordinate rehabilitation planning, and maintain contact with referred clients via multiple pathways.

The role requires an Associates or Bachelors in Social Work or related field and 2+ years in Behavioral Health or similar service.

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelors degree; equivalence considered.
• Two years’ experience in Behavioral Health or similar.
• Experience with youth & adults with emotional/cognitive disabilities or mental health disorders preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide substance abuse screening and assessments.
• Case management and triage for urgent services.
• Open & close referrals; coordinate with medical and social services.
• Engage clients and families in a therapeutic alliance and plan rehabilitation.
