Texas Health Rockwall is seeking an Admissions Specialist for the Admitting ER to welcome patients, collect demographics, and verify insurance and pre-approvals. You will ensure accurate health records, assist with financial estimates, and navigate regulatory documents with care.

The role requires empathy, excellent communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-stress environment. Full-time schedule includes 1pm-7pm on Wed and 7am-7pm Thu-Sat, at Rockwall, TX.

Competenze

• H.S. Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of customer service required.
• 2 years of patient access experience in an emergency department preferred.
• CHAA - Certified Healthcare Access Associate preferred upon hire.
• CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training required within 60 days of hire.
• Proficient data entry, numeric, typing and computer navigational skills with attention to detail.
• Proficient with Epic, Microsoft Office and assorted software programs.
