Job summary

ERM is seeking a Technical Partner to grow our Natural Resources practice across North America, with a focus on power, renewable energy, and technology clients. This hybrid role can be based in any ERM office in the USA, combining technical leadership with client development and market expansion.

You will lead senior teams on ecological resources, restoration, and environmental permitting, mentoring staff and collaborating with partners to meet ambitious growth, safety, and quality goals.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in environmental science, engineering, or related field.
• 15+ years of progressive experience in environmental consulting.
• Proven leadership in mitigation and ecorestoration, including endangered species and habitat conservation.
• Deep understanding of conventional and renewable energy markets in North America.
• Strong business development track record, generating and delivering multi-million-dollar programs.
• Expertise in HCPs, and regional permitting.

Responsibilities

• Lead business development and client engagement in Power, Diversified Energy, and Technology sectors.
• Provide senior technical leadership for biological resources, ecological restoration, and permitting programs.
• Support clients through planning, permitting, construction, and operations phases.
• Develop and grow key client relationships and identify opportunities for additional services.
• Mentor staff and project managers; collaborate with partners to drive growth.
