Job summary

Madera Community College seeks a part-time Psychology Instructor for pool-based recruitment. The instructor will teach Psychology courses on campus and at off-site locations, using varied pedagogies and technology to support face-to-face, online, and hybrid formats.

Qualifications

• Master’s in psychology or equivalent as stated in minimum qualifications.
• Bachelor’s in psychology plus Master’s in counseling, sociology, or related field.
• California Community College Credential or equivalency accepted.

Responsibilities

• Teach a part-time schedule of Psychology courses as assigned.
• Use diverse instructional methods for face-to-face, online, and hybrid formats.
• Communicate effectively with students and staff.
• Provide course syllabi and maintain classroom records per district policy.
• Submit all grading and evaluation reports in a timely manner.
• Fulfilling duties of instructors as required.
