Fresno City College invites applications for a part-time Linguistics Instructor to teach a flexible schedule of linguistics courses and contribute to equity-centered student success. Instructors will use diverse pedagogies for face-to-face, online, and hybrid formats, provide syllabi and timely evaluations, and participate in culturally relevant professional development

Qualifications

• Demonstrated responsiveness to diverse student backgrounds and equitable teaching practices.
• Degrees as listed in minimum qualifications or equivalent experience may be required.
• Petition for equivalency if transcripts do not match exactly as stated.

Responsibilities

• Teach a part-time schedule of Linguistics courses as assigned.
• Use varied pedagogies and delivery formats including face-to-face, online, and hybrid.
• Communicate effectively with students, faculty and staff; maintain records per District policy.
• Provide course syllabi and timely grading/evaluations; fulfill all instructor duties as required.
