RJW Logistics Group is seeking a detail-oriented Claims Analyst in Chicago to support administration, investigation, resolution, and recovery of freight-related claims. The role interfaces with customers, carriers, warehouses, and finance to ensure timely, accurate processing within contractual deadlines.

The ideal candidate has strong analytical and communication skills, with experience in investigations, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, or related field preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, warehousing, claims, or related field preferred.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, Word, and Teams.

Responsibilities

• Receive, review, and process claims for freight, warehouse, inventory, and service failures.
• Verify submissions for completeness and maintain claim files.
• Coordinate with operations, customers, and carriers to gather evidence.
• Determine liability and pursue recoveries; prepare dispute letters when needed.
• Prepare weekly/monthly claim reports and track KPIs.
