Job summary

Bellevue School District is seeking a Graduation Success Coach for the Rise Program at Highland Middle School in Bellevue, WA. This part‑time role supports high school students at risk of not graduating through one-on-one and group sessions, and collaboration with staff, families and community partners.

The ideal candidate will have an AA degree, plus a preferred Bachelor’s or Master’s in social work, counseling, or education, and at least 3 years’ experience in mentoring or case management.

Qualifications

• A.A. Degree is required.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in social work, counseling, or education preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in case management, mentoring, wraparound supports or mental health services.
• Experience working with middle and/or high school students is preferred.
• Fluent in written and verbal Spanish is preferred.
• 2 years of industry experience can substitute for A.A. degree.

Responsibilities

• Coach identified students via one-on-one and small group sessions focusing on academics, personal growth, leadership and service.
• Facilitate credit retrieval through online and blended learning opportunities.
• Create and facilitate workshops for partner high schools.
• Collaborate with Equity department to implement college tours and related activities.
• Coordinate and co-facilitate summer programs for identified students.
• Collect and maintain data on program performance indicators.
• Support teachers and school staff to promote positive college-going and civic engagement.
• Represent the organization at college access and success events.
