Middleburg Communities seeks a Vice President of Equity Capital Markets to drive growth of our equity capital platform in Virginia. Reporting to senior leadership, you will cultivate institutional relationships, support capital raises, and help secure equity for a growing development pipeline.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in capital markets with real estate/infra focus, existing relationships with institutional/private capital, and strong communication skills.

Formación

• 10+ years in capital markets, investor relations, private equity, or investment banking with a focus on real estate, infrastructure, or alternative investments.
• Experience supporting institutional capital raises for multifamily development.
• Existing relationships within institutional or private capital ecosystems.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to travel for investor meetings and industry events.
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA or related advanced degree preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Support the execution of the company's equity capital raising strategy under the direction of senior leadership.
• Identify, cultivate, and help establish relationships with new institutional and private capital partners.
• Help expand the firm's network of equity investors through outreach, industry conferences, and introductions.
• Support relationship-building across equity capital channels, including Strategic Institutional Capital and Transactional Institutional Capital.
• Maintain and update a pipeline of prospective investment partners and capital sources.
• Provide input to leadership on capital market trends, investor sentiment, and fundraising approach.
• Serve as a relationship manager for institutional equity partners, in coordination with senior leadership.
• Present investment opportunities to investors with credibility and confidence.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of investment materials and due diligence requests.
• Support the development of long-term partnerships that lead to repeat investment across multiple transactions.
• Collaborate with and support junior team members in a team-oriented environment.
