Job summary

Apex Invest in New York seeks a Vice President, Institutional Relationships & Capital Formation to lead engagement with institutional investors across the platform and events.

You will build and expand relationships with family offices, pension funds, RIAs, wealth managers, private banks, and consultants, while working with the Markets team on capital formation initiatives. Strong network and fundraising experience are essential.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in institutional investor relations, capital introduction, or related fields.
• Established relationships with institutional investors, wealth managers, RIAs, and consultants.
• Strong understanding of private markets and alternative assets.
• Experience supporting institutional fundraising, allocator engagement, and due diligence.
• Knowledge of broker-dealer capital formation practices and regulatory considerations.
• Strong commercial acumen with excellent relationship management and communication skills.
• Entrepreneurial mindset to build new relationships in a fast-growing business.

Responsibilities

• Lead institutional investor engagement across the Apex Invest platform, global events, and capital formation ecosystem.
• Develop and maintain relationships with family offices, pension funds, endowments, foundations, sovereign wealth funds, and other allocators.
• Expand allocator participation across the platform and global events.
• Collaborate with the Markets broker-dealer team to support institutional engagement and capital formation.
• Source allocator participation, speakers, and thought leaders for conferences, webinars, and councils.
• Provide insights to product and platform teams based on allocator feedback.
• Partner with Marketing to develop institutional content, podcasts, webinars, and thought leadership.
• Represent Apex Invest at industry conferences and investor meetings.
• Identify opportunities across Fund Administration, Digital Assets, Tokenization, and Custody.
