Job summary

Middleburg Communities seeks a Vice President of Equity Capital Markets to drive capital raises and expand our investor network. You will work with leadership, investment and development teams to identify institutional capital, maintain a deal pipeline, and present opportunities with credibility.

Bachelor’s degree required; 10+ years in capital markets; travel to investor meetings expected. You will lead capital strategy, build lasting relationships, and support our mission across multiple

Qualifications

• 10+ years in capital markets, investor relations, private equity, or investment banking.
• Experience supporting institutional capital raises for multifamily development.
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA or related advanced degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the execution of the equity capital raising strategy under senior leadership.
• Identify, cultivate, and establish relationships with institutional and private capital partners.
• Expand the investor network through outreach, conferences, and introductions.
• Maintain a pipeline of prospective investment partners and capital sources.
• Present investment opportunities to investors with credibility and coordinate due diligence.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver investment materials and ensure timely diligence requests.
