Job summary

Selby Jennings is seeking a Senior Associate for Capital Formation & Investor Relations to join a Denver-based real estate private equity and development firm. The role focuses on raising capital across Mountain West and South regions, building relationships with LPs, and driving fundraising initiatives from outreach through closing.

The ideal candidate will have proven fundraising experience, strong communication skills, and existing investor relationships in real estate or related alternate

Qualifications

• Experience in capital formation, investor relations, fundraising, or business development.
• Demonstrated success raising capital, closing funds, and interactions with LPs.
• Strong existing investor relationships preferred.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Experience within real estate, private equity, private credit, or alternative investments preferred.
• Experience at commercial real estate private equity firms preferred.
• Bachelor's degree required.

Responsibilities

• Raising capital from family offices, RIAs, high net-worth individuals, and institutional investors.
• Building and managing investor relationships, as well as conducting investor outreach.
• Driving fundraising initiatives from outreach through closing.
• Representing the firm at investor meetings and industry events.

The firm invests across multiple property types throughout the Mountain West and South, and is looking for a proven fundraising professional to help drive capital raising efforts.

The Senior Associate of Capital Formation & Investor Relations will be responsible for:

• Raising capital from family offices, RIAs, HNWI, and institutional investors
• Building and managing investor relationships, as well as conducting investor outreach
• Driving fundraising initiatives from outreach through closing
• Representing the firm at investor meetings and industry events
• Supporting investor communications and marketing materials

The Senior Associate of Capital Formation & Investor Relations should have/be:

• Experience in capital formation, investor relations, fundraising, or business development
• Demonstrated success raising capital, closing funds, and interactions with LPs
