Job summary

ACRE seeks an Associatie, Equity Asset Manager to lead performance and value creation for a portfolio of multifamily investments across the firm's equity funds.

In this associate role, you will support the SVP of Asset Management and collaborate with property management, construction, acquisitions, and capital markets to drive NOI growth, execute capital improvements, optimize financing, and present analyses to investment committees.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3+ years of multifamily asset management experience with responsibility for investment performance and business plan execution.
• Experience overseeing portfolios of 8–10+ multifamily assets for institutional owners or funds.
• Proven value-add, lease-up, turnaround, and distressed asset strategies that improved performance and value.
• Experience partnering with third-party property management to optimize asset performance.
• Experience in refinancing, recapitalization, and dispositions.
• Strong understanding of multifamily operations, budgeting, forecasting, and investment analysis.
• Advanced financial modeling and cash flow analysis in Excel.
• Experience presenting investment recommendations to senior leadership and investors.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills; able to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Support the financial and operating performance of a portfolio of multifamily investments and execute business plans.
• Develop and implement asset-level strategies for revenue growth, expense optimization, occupancy, and capital projects.
• Oversee third-party property management teams to drive operational excellence and NOI growth.
• Monitor asset performance against underwriting and identify risks with corrective strategies.
• Assist with refinancing, recapitalization, and disposition decision processes.
• Prepare hold/sell analyses and investment memoranda for leadership and investment committees.
• Support investor reporting and portfolio reviews; travel nationally as needed.
