Job summary

Alliance Residential is seeking an Asset Management Associate to support startup and ongoing operations of multifamily assets. You will perform financial and operational analyses of property cash flows and help prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting for the portfolio.

Qualifications

• Experience with financial modeling.
• Understanding of the development, lease up, and investment sales process.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and multi-tasking abilities.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook and accounting systems.

Responsibilities

• Asset Startup Duties: Work with development and operations teams for startup; oversee onboarding and budgeting.
• Operational Oversight: Act as owner’s representative; execute lease-up strategy and coordinate reporting.
• Disposition Duties: Support investment sales and related due diligence.
• Review and negotiate contracts, manage budgets, and coordinate with finance on loan activity.
• Coordinate with management, JV partners, and development/construction teams on capital projects.
• Conduct weekly operations calls and provide rent/concession guidance.
• Monitor marketing stats and optimize leasing performance.
• Prepare monthly asset management/finance reports and annual budgets.
