Job summary

Calculated Hire is seeking an experienced Equities Back Office professional for a role focused on end-to-end trade lifecycle in an active capital markets environment. You will support processing, settlement, and reconciliations of equity trades, while collaborating with front office, middle office, risk, finance and technology teams.

The ideal candidate brings deep knowledge of equity products, post-trade processes, and strong operational controls.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in Equity Operations/Back Office in capital markets.
• Experience across end-to-end equity trade lifecycle, from execution to settlement.
• Strong knowledge of post-trade processes, reconciliations and controls.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end lifecycle of equity trades from capture to settlement.
• Process and monitor back-office equity transactions and reconciliations.
• Review trade details and resolve discrepancies across systems and counterparties.
• Support trade confirmation, matching, settlement and exception management.
• Investigate failed or unmatched trades and settlement breaks.
• Perform daily cash and position reconciliations and investigate variances.
• Collaborate with Front Office, Middle Office, Risk, Finance, Tech and brokers.
• Support corporate actions, dividends, stock splits and other events.
• Identify recurring issues and suggest process improvements and automation.
