Qualifications

• 2+ years in securities settlement operations or equivalent core settlement function.
• Experience with settlement exceptions, fails, reconciliations, and cutoff processing.
• Strong understanding of the securities trade lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end settlement of securities transactions within market cutoffs.
• Monitor settlement activity and resolve trade breaks and fails.
• Investigate discrepancies involving settlement instructions, positions, or cash.
• Coordinate with internal teams, brokers, custodians, and counterparties to resolve issues.
• Perform reconciliations and maintain accurate books and records for settlement activity.
• Monitor time-sensitive transactions and escalate unresolved settlement risks.
• Maintain documentation and comply with controls and risk requirements.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and reduce operational risk.
