Job summary

You will design, develop, and deliver Citi’s next-generation low-latency execution platform, including algorithmic trading, SOR, dark pools, and high-throughput market data processing. The role collaborates with traders, quants, technology teams, and QA to build high-performance systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 years of experience with strong technical knowledge in low-latency systems.
• Experience developing electronic trading platforms in global financial institutions.
• Strong automated testing and quality engineering practices.
• Solid understanding of Agile and CI/CD processes.
• Familiarity with low-latency system design, concurrency and high-throughput architecture.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a distributed environment.
• Excellent communication skills in a multicultural, cross-regional setting.
• Knowledge of regional exchange microstructure and regulatory regimes.

Responsibilities

• Core Development: Design, development and maintenance of high-performance, low-latency electronic execution systems.
• Product Collaboration: Partner with traders, quants, and clients to translate needs into features and enhancements.
• Testing: Improve testing frameworks and development tools for reliability and scale.
• AI-Powered SDLC: Leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, code quality and innovation.
• Agile & CI/CD: Champion Agile practices and CI/CD with shift-left testing.
• Platform Support & Enhancement: Build common solutions for monitoring, reconciliation and recovery.
