Job summary

Fabick Cat is seeking a skilled Inventory Associate to ensure orderly flow of customer and company equipment across the Fabick campus. You will manage inbound and outbound assets, coordinate shipments, verify documentation, and maintain accurate barcode records to support multiple divisions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3+ years of experience operating heavy machinery, shipping, receiving and general yard duties.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to move equipment around the yard.
• Ability to manage time and multi-task with little to no supervision.
• Must have heavy equipment experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate shipping of new, used, rental, demo, and serviced customer equipment.
• Initiate INSPCT templates for loss mitigation of Fabick and customers.
• Receive new equipment and attach barcodes; print and attach to equipment.
• Generate and send receivers for new and used machines to Sales Dept.
• Assist in presentation of equipment to showcase to customers.
• Investigate shipping and receiving errors for resolution.
• Comply with administrative policies, safety rules, and government regulations.
• Examine contents and compare with records to verify accuracy of shipments.
• Take pictures of equipment and verify serial numbers, hours, attachments, and damage.
• Notify department heads and send supporting documentation for identified damages.
• Conduct monthly physical inventory audits and ensure barcoding is complete.
• Reconcile inventory reports and locate missing items.
• Submit inventory reports and communicate disparities to Department heads.
• Maintain an organized yard free of debris and trash.
• Other duties as assigned.
