Job summary

Fabick Cat in Wisconsin is seeking a Yard/Inventory Associate to maintain orderly flow of equipment across divisions. You will receive, barcode, and organize assets, coordinate shipping/receiving, and support the Sales and Service teams with accurate inventory data.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 3+ years in heavy equipment operations or yard duties, and the ability to work independently with a sense of urgency. Physical stamina for lifting and outdoor work is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years in heavy equipment, shipping, receiving.
• Must lift up to 75 pounds and work outdoors.
• Strong time-management with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate shipping of new, used, rental, demo, and serviced equipment.
• Initiate INSPCT templates for loss mitigation as needed.
• Receive equipment and attach barcodes per process.
• Generate and send receivers to Sales when required.
• Assist in presenting equipment to customers.
• Investigate shipping/receiving errors and resolve.
• Follow policies, safety rules and regulations.
• Inspect items against records (manifests, invoices, orders).
• Photograph equipment and verify serial numbers, hours, attachments, damage.
• Conduct monthly inventory audits for assigned location.
• Reconcile inventory reports and communicate discrepancies to department heads.
• Maintain an organized yard free of debris and trash.
• Other duties as assigned.
