Job summary

Fabick Cat is seeking a Yard Coordinator in Appleton, WI to oversee the flow of inventory across the yard. You will manage inbound and outbound customer assets and Fabick equipment, ensuring accuracy and timely processing from receiving to updating inventories.

The role requires at least a high school diploma, 3+ years operating heavy machinery and yard experience. You will work in a fast-paced environment with a strong emphasis on safety and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: high school diploma or GED; technical/ vocational education desired.
• 3+ years of experience in operating heavy machinery, shipping, receiving and yard duties.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate shipping of new, used, rental, demo, and serviced equipment as needed.
• Initiate and complete INSPCT templates for loss mitigation.
• Receive equipment and attach barcodes; print and attach labels.
• Generate and send receivers for new/used machines to Sales Dept.
• Assist in preparing equipment for customer demonstrations.
• Investigate and resolve shipping/receiving errors.
• Adhere to policies, safety rules and government regulations.
• Verify contents against records, check serial numbers, hour meters, attachments and damage.
• Take photos of equipment and document any damage and discrepancies.
• Conduct monthly inventory audits and ensure barcoding/scan coverage.
• Reconcile inventory reports and communicate disparities to department heads.
• Maintain an organized yard free of debris and trash.
• Other duties as assigned.
