Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is hiring a Porter / Yard Worker to station and retrieve equipment on the site, maintaining a maintenance schedule and inspecting gear for rental readiness. You will join a safety-focused team in a fast-paced environment with opportunities to grow into mechanic, driver, or customer service roles.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and experience with common tools; bilingual abilities may be required depending on location.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience with common construction and industrial tools preferred.
• Some experience and/or training in repair of mechanical equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Station and retrieve equipment on the location's property.
• Maintain a written maintenance schedule for equipment.
• Inspect equipment prior to and after rental to document any lost/damaged items.
• Ensure equipment meets all set specifications and safety standards.
