Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals, Inc. is seeking a Porter / Yard Worker in the United States. You will work in a fast-paced environment, stationing and retrieving equipment, and may advance into mechanic, driver, or customer service roles.

You’ll be part of a safety-focused team with a comprehensive benefits package and paid time off. The role includes responsibilities such as inspecting equipment before/after rental, maintaining a maintenance schedule, and ensuring equipment meets specifications.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively with customers (written and oral).
• Ability to perform basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply and divide).
• Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc).
• General mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Stationing and retrieving equipment on the location's property.
• Maintain a written maintenance schedule and service equipment as necessary.
• Inspect equipment prior to and after rental to document any lost or damaged equipment.
