Job summary

Dexcom, Inc. seeks an Equipment Technician II for the Test Lab to maintain and optimize equipment reliability. You will work with Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, and R&D to ensure safe, reliable operation and to drive improvements that affect product quality and throughput.

You will own maintenance execution, perform preventive and corrective tasks, and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems. The role requires 2–4 years’ experience and a high school diploma; Maximo is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; associate degree or technical certification preferred.
• 2–4 years of equipment maintenance, manufacturing, or test-lab experience.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and automated systems.
• Experience interpreting drawings, schematics, and maintenance procedures.
• Experience with CMMS tools such as Maximo is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own reliability, performance, and maintenance of assigned Test Lab equipment.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance per approved procedures.
• Troubleshoot, repair electrical assemblies, electronics, sensors, and test equipment.
• Coordinate calibration activities and monitoring tasks (IOQ/LRA).
• Lead root-cause investigations using structured methodologies and Lean Six Sigma principles.
