Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Technician to perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and complex repairs on a diverse fleet of equipment including aerial work platforms, pumps and HVAC units. The role emphasizes safety, quality workmanship, and adherence to procedures.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED with trade training and 5+ years of technician experience with diesel or heavy equipment. Strong hydraulic and electrical troubleshooting skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; some trade school or equivalent training desired.
• 5+ years of Technician experience with similar diesel equipment and/or heavy equipment or specialty lines equipment strongly preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of hydraulic systems and troubleshooting skills.
• Advanced knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to be flexible with changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment to avoid downtime.
• Diagnose faults and perform complex repairs on equipment.
• Maintain a safety-focused approach in all tasks.
• Work with a varied fleet including aerial work platforms, pumps, HVAC and oil/gas equipment.
