Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP in Avondale, LA is seeking an Equipment Technician responsible for safely cleaning and disinfecting medical equipment and maintaining par levels across departments.

You will read par sheets, stock supplies, operate a pushcart, and follow infection control policies while providing reliable service to hospital staff.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Walk or stand for long periods.
• Answer and respond to phone calls and emails from hospital staff.
• Clean and disinfect medical equipment using approved disinfectant.
• Read par sheets and inventory levels.
• Adhere to hospital policies and infection control processes.
• Obtain supplies via Stock Acquisition Process.
• Perform all duties listed on the daily schedule.
• Operate pushcart for transporting equipment.
• Maintain daily upkeep of assigned area.
• Report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor.
• Follow safety rules, policies, and procedures.
• Stop at risk behavior of others and self.
• Perform work assignments in a team with other employees.
• Perform repetitive tasks.
• Maintain clean work area.
• Follow all protocols, company procedures, policies, and rules.
• Take direction and respond to supervision.
• Talk with lead, supervisor, co-workers, managers, and customers in a professional manner.
• Fill in during staff shortage.
• Support shift lead in completing punch-list items.
• Use proper personal protective equipment.
• Present a professional appearance and conduct.
• Understand customer service and satisfaction.
• Understand reporting systems, and of the environment.

Shifts And Compensation

Sunday-Thursday from 11:00pm-7:30am off every Friday & Saturday. $15.00-$16.00 per hour.
