Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP is seeking an Equipment Technician to safely clean and disinfect medical equipment and maintain par levels for each department. The role requires adherence to hospital policies and infection control procedures, reading par sheets, communicating with staff, and performing duties on the daily schedule.

Shift is Sunday-Thursday 11:00pm-7:30am with a pay rate of $15.00–$16.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Ability to read inventory forms
• Read, write, and speak English
• Strong verbal and written communication
• Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment
• Ability to read and interpret instructions and manuals

Responsibilities

• Walk or stand for long periods
• Answer and respond to hospital staff via phone and email
• Disinfect medical equipment using approved disinfectant
• Read par sheets and inventory levels
• Adhere to hospital policies and infection control processes
• Obtain supplies via Stock Acquisition Process
• Perform duties listed on daily schedule
• Operate pushcart for transporting equipment
• Maintain daily upkeep of assigned area
• Report incidents and hazards to supervisor
• Follow safety rules and procedures
• Work in a team with other employees
• Maintain clean work area
• Follow all protocols and company rules
• Take direction from supervision
• Communicate professionally with staff and customers
• Fill in during staff shortages
• Support shift lead on punch-list items
• Use personal protective equipment
• Present professional appearance and conduct

• Appropriately clean and disinfect medical equipment using the approved disinfectant

• Knowledge of cleaning compounds and chemicals, and their safe, efficient use

Shifts And Compensation

Sunday-Thursday from 11:00pm-7:30am off every Friday & Saturday. $15.00-$16.00 per hour.
