Title:Equipment TechJob Description:Job OverviewThe Equipment Technician will be responsible for safely cleaning and disinfecting medical equipment and maintaining appropriate par levels for each department.Roles & ResponsibilitiesTo perform this job successfully and safely, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.Walk and or stand for long periods of timeAnswer and respond to phone calls and emails from hospital staffAppropriately clean and disinfect medical equipment using the approved disinfectantAble to read par sheets and inventory levelsAdhere to hospital policies and infection control processesObtain supplies via Stock Acquisition ProcessPerform all duties listed on the daily scheduleOperate pushcart for transporting equipmentMaintain daily upkeep of assigned areaReport incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisorComply with safety rules, policies, and proceduresStop at risk behavior of others and selfPerform work assignments in a team with other employeesPerform repetitive tasksMaintain clean work areaFollow all protocols, company procedures, policies, and rulesTake direction and respond to supervisionTalk with lead, supervisor, co-workers, managers, and customers in a professional mannerFill in during staff shortageSupport shift lead in completing punch-list itemsUse proper personal protective equipmentPresent a professional appearance and conductUnderstand customer service and satisfactionThe ability to drive to various work locations, customer sites, or company facilities may be necessary to perform the essential functions of this position.Understand reporting systems, and of the environmentQualificationTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
