Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP in Braselton, GA is seeking an Equipment Technician to safely clean and disinfect medical equipment and maintain appropriate par levels for each department.

Responsibilities include assisting hospital staff via phone/email, reading par sheets, following infection-control procedures, obtaining supplies, and performing daily duties as scheduled. Work hours are Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM–6:30 PM, at $14.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Ability to read inventory forms.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Walk and stand for long periods.
• Answer and respond to phone calls and emails from hospital staff.
• Clean and disinfect medical equipment using approved disinfectant.
• Read par sheets and inventory levels.
• Adhere to hospital policies and infection-control processes.
• Obtain supplies via Stock Acquisition Process.
• Perform all duties listed on the daily schedule.
• Operate pushcart for transporting equipment.
• Maintain daily upkeep of assigned area.
• Report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor.
• Follow all protocols, company procedures, policies, and rules.
• Perform work assignments in a team with other employees.
• Perform repetitive tasks.
• Maintain clean work area.

Roles & Responsibilities

To perform this job successfully and safely, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.

• Walk and or stand for long periods of time
• Answer and respond to phone calls and emails from hospital staff
• Appropriately clean and disinfect medical equipment using the approved disinfectant
• Able to read par sheets and inventory levels
• Adhere to hospital policies and infection control processes
• Obtain supplies via Stock Acquisition Process
• Perform all duties listed on the daily schedule
• Operate pushcart for transporting equipment
• Maintain daily upkeep of assigned area
• Report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor
• Comply with safety rules, policies, and procedures
• Stop at risk behavior of others and self
• Perform work assignments in a team with other employees
• Perform repetitive tasks

• Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment and willing to share with team
• Knowledge of the upkeep and care of the cleaning equipment
• Knowledge of cleaning compounds and chemicals, and their safe, efficient use

Compensation and Shift

$14.00/hr , Monday-Friday, 10:00 AM- 6:30 PM
