Job summary

Form Energy is seeking an Equipment Planner to develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive spare parts program for production, maintenance, and facilities equipment. The role reports to the Equipment Maintenance Manager and anchors the company’s growth in high-volume battery production at our Weirton facility.

This position requires an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a related field and hands-on experience with spare parts planning, CMMS, and ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Maintenance, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience in spare parts planning, inventory management, maintenance planning, or supply chain operations.
• Strong understanding of maintenance and reliability concepts.
• Experience working with CMMS and/or ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Build and implement a comprehensive spare parts program for production, maintenance, and facilities equipment.
• Identify critical, insurance, and consumable spare parts based on asset criticality and failure history.
• Maintain accurate spare parts inventory records, including quantities, locations, and usage history.
• Track spare parts consumption and adjust min/max levels to ensure availability while minimizing excess inventory.
• Generate and manage spare parts quotes from vendors and suppliers.
• Identify and track cost savings opportunities through standardization, supplier consolidation, and inventory optimization.
