Job summary

Form Energy, based in Weirton, WV, is seeking an Associate Manager to support the Manufacturing Operations team. You will lead a production line, ensure safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance, and supervise shift leaders across all shifts in a 24/7 operation.

Relocation assistance is available as the company scales iron‑air battery production. You will collaborate with engineering, maintenance, quality, safety, and planning to optimize output and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience managing teams in high-volume manufacturing.
• 6+ years in high-volume manufacturing, ideally in battery, chemical, powder processing, or similar process‑intensive industries.
• Demonstrated experience with lean manufacturing, SPC, and structured problem solving (8D, A3, DMAIC, or similar).
• Experience managing leaders in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong leadership ability with excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Own safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance for your production line across all shifts of a 24/7 operation.
• Build a culture that prioritizes safety and product quality while consistently meeting production targets
• Lead, develop, and mentor shift supervisors and production associates, fostering a collaborative, high-performing, and continuously learning environment focused on operational excellence.
• Own execution of the production plan, including staffing, materials availability, yield, and schedule adherence in partnership with planning and supply chain.
• Drive equipment reliability and OEE improvement with maintenance and engineering teams, including changeover reduction and planned downtime execution.
• Ensure production teams utilize standardized work and consistent work practices across shifts and areas.
