Job summary

Central Pre-Mix Concrete Co., a CRH Company, seeks an Equipment/Shop Supervisor to lead maintenance, repairs, and cost accounting for all mobile and stationary equipment. You will supervise mechanics and shop leads, and you’ll monitor budgets and safety across Central Pre-Mix and Inland Asphalt.

You will manage fleet availability and utilization, coordinate with field personnel, oversee procurement, CMMS data, and labor relations, and promote safe, cost-efficient maintenance practices.

Qualifications

• Five to ten years of related experience in construction industry preferred.
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills.
• Proven ability to manage budgets and cost controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance, repairs, and cost accounting for all equipment.
• Supervise shop personnel including mechanics and parts staff.
• Administer work requests and monitor fleet availability and utilization.
• Coordinate with field personnel on equipment maintenance needs.
• Oversee procurement of parts, lubricants, and repair services.
• Manage CMMS data and ensure accurate maintenance records.
• Promote safety culture and labor relations across the shop.
• Organize shop safety meetings and training.
• Support capital expenditure decisions and asset disposal.
