Job summary

Centex Materials in Austin, Texas seeks a Ready-Mix Plant Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance, manage preventive programs, and support production goals. You will supervise staff, ensure safety, and coordinate with operations to minimize downtime and control costs.

The role requires strong mechanical troubleshooting, budgeting, and OSHA compliance knowledge in an industrial setting. On-site work with after-hours support is expected.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience in maintenance or operations.
• Experience in industrial/ready-mix environments.
• Experience with preventive and predictive maintenance programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily maintenance and repair activities for ready-mix plants and equipment.
• Develop and manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Coordinate maintenance of batch plants, conveyors, silos, mixers, and related systems.
• Supervise maintenance staff, train, and ensure safe work practices.
• Manage maintenance budgets, work orders, and documentation.
• Coordinate vendors, parts inventory, and contractor services.
• Monitor costs and performance metrics to minimize downtime.
